Excerpt from Divine Living: Practical Advice for a Lifetime
Brilliance
Be brilliant. Let the divine flame, i.e., the angelic light of God's celestial presence within you shine forth to your ultimate satisfaction and supreme fulfillment.
Let it shine from your soul. Be a channel of God's love that warms and energizes the earth and all who dwell therein, rather than being a mere vessel that stores it up for you. Be the "soul" source of wisdom that resides within you to the enlightenment and guidance of the world in which you navigate, rather than a mere brain that stores knowledge for its own self-aggrandizement. Pursue the inclinations of your divine spirit that pervades the totality of your being to: 1) your own contentment, and 2) the pleasure of those who are inclined to be pleased with your tendencies.
Let God's radiant beams glow from the depths of your heart. Be fully in touch with your feelings, and the prompting of your heart strings, and give expression to them to the relief of your own fullness of joy, sorrow, anger or love, and the completeness of those who have been chosen to be recipients of them. Go with your intuition in search of your hearts desires, rather than pursue only that which you have proven yourself to be good at, to the greater entertainment of yourself and others. Don't be afraid to be ingenious, and original, and to listen, follow and sing to the rhythm of your own heartbeat with the realization that it will glorify those who are in tune with you. Let God's magnificent spirit scintillate your mind, and shine upon others to their benefit through your creativity, genius, and conscience.
Be sure to let God's light shine through your body, too, responding to your sacred instincts, rational tendencies, and drives to the joyful enhancement of your physical abilities, and the greater good of all.
Dazzle the world with your brilliance.

About the Author

Rev. Richard Adinolfi presents you with his practical ideas for divine living in his ebook Divine Living: Practical Advice for a Lifetime after decades of Christian ministry, writing, and preaching sermons from the pulpit and on the radio. He received his B.A. from Hunter College of the City of New York, in Sociology and Psychology, and his B.D. from New York Theological Seminary in Theology and Biblical Studies. During thirty years of active ministry, he served as pastor of three churches (one inner city and the two rural churches). He also served the Pennsylvania Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ, as one of its Assistant Conference Ministers, assisting the denomination's Philadelphia and Reading, PA churches and their pastors with ministry, human services and public advocacy issues. Richard is also a faithful devotee of yoga and a Licensed Massage Therapist -- a second career which he began pursuing in his fifties. He authored this ebook on self-care: Self-Massage Plus: Caring for Your Aching Muscles and More (for the lay person) and also created a (10 CEUs) Continuing Education for Massage Therapists program.
