Numerology Made Simple

A Message from the Author

Twenty five years ago when I was a teacher of meditation and life energy (which I still am), I went to a Master Numerologist as I had become more and more interested in studying this ancient science of numbers. Over the next two years, I studied under his guidance and began incorporating numerology into my energy/meditation coaching.

My teacher's numerology differs from many of the books in the market. How? It’s a question of emphasis. We believe that because the Day Number energy moves faster than the Month Number energy (and in turn the year) it should carry greater emphasis than most current teachings espouse. In fact most numerologists emphasize the Life Path number primarily. If the birthdate numbers add up to say 36, they will refer to that person as 9. We don't. We refer to their Day Number, i.e. if you are born on the 26th we talk about that person being an 8 (an extremely karmic number, by the way). We regard the Life Path number as vitally important but it’s not the everyday energy – it’s an indication of overall Life Purpose.

 So when someone comes for a reading I initially consider

1. The everyday energy
2. Then the month and year
3. The Sun Sign
4. Then the Life Path

Let’s say a person comes to see me and their birth date is 12 July 1953. They are a Day 3, influenced by month 7, Cancer, Year 9, and Life Purpose (28/10/1). Straight away I will know that they are dreamy, emotional, interested in art and humanities, loving of, and frightened by people, prone to moodiness when tired, in fact, easily tired, but with deep and subtle strength of conviction. And so it goes on. We will also discuss the client's name numbers, the number of their house, what's been happening previously in their life, what direction their energy is taking over the next few years and generally lead on from the client's questions. Finally I will offer some meditative techniques and life energy enhancements. I will ensure they leave feeling good. The same for students in any class I teach.

The book came about because clients asked for it. I was often asked "where can I read numerology the way you explain it?"

All those years ago I myself had struggled through many of the numerology books available and although they whet my appetite to learn more, they were also generally dull and unnecessarily "deep".  I discovered it’s just not that complicated.

Anyone reading Numerology Made Simple and following the system will develop an understanding of themselves and others very quickly. My teacher used to say that this numerology combined with a good meditative technique will give anyone much greater understanding of any person they are reading.
