My title for this book came to me tonight as I began to write. And this is why.
More than twenty years ago Don and I were attending a public session of Thomas Jacobson channeling Dr. Peebles.
A friend had recently lost her husband and she attended the session in hopes of making contact with her deceased husband with Dr. Peebles’ help. She had believed she had received communication from her husband more than once, but still held onto doubt, not sure if it was her imagination, wishful thinking, or fact.
She expressed her doubt to Dr. Peebles, and he assured her that her husband had indeed been in touch with her and gave an example which she was able to confirm. But of course, like all of us, she wanted more evidential events.
One thing about her husband, Bob, which she later shared with us, was that Bob was a bit of a trickster and teaser and loved to change furniture around or move her things about and would do so while she was away from home or napping. She noticed since his death a few items had seemed to move from one place to another, or had turned in another direction.
Dr. Peebles said her husband was enjoying moving things around whenever he could. He gave an example of how determined Bob was to let her know he was with her. It would be as if Bob, gathering all the energy he could, would run at a closed door with full force and the result here in the physical world would be subtle—like a feather lightly falling through the air to the floor.
Often we take for granted, or deny or disbelieve the subtle communication we receive from our deceased loved ones or our angels and spirit guides.
Too often we forget that we are spiritual beings.
I have come to know that love and consciousness lives on after the death of the physical body.
I also know we are never alone, but always surrounded by love, inspiration, and guidance of those in the spirit world.
So be aware of an angel’s feather as it touches you softly and lightly with love.
